Days/Week Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Regional Director of Operations for an exciting Travel or Local job in Modesto, CA. Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Provide leadership oversight across Sterile Processing, Transportation, and Facilities operations Lead, mentor, and develop site-level Directors, Managers, and Coordinators Establish operational priorities, performance goals, and regional standards Align site operations with organizational strategy and growth initiatives Drive operational integration across departments to ensure efficient service delivery Compliance & Performance Ensure compliance with AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards Oversee audit readiness, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities Standardize workflows, documentation, and operational procedures across facilities Monitor operational performance and proactively address risks and challenges Quality & Continuous Improvement Manage regional KPIs related to quality, turnaround time, throughput, and service reliability Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives Identify and implement best practices across multiple sites Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and outcomes Leadership Development Develop site-level leaders and support succession planning initiatives Drive accountability, performance management, and leadership consistency Support recruitment and onboarding of operational leadership personnel Collaboration Partner with healthcare clients, clinical teams, and executive leadership Align operational performance with service expectations and organizational goals Participate in strategic planning and executive-level operational discussions Requirements Minimum 10 years of operational leadership experience required Minimum 5 years of multi-site leadership experience required Experience leading multiple operational functions (SPD, logistics, facilities, or similar) required Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams Experience in complex multi-site healthcare or operational environments Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance and organizational outcomes Preferred Qualifications CRCST or equivalent Sterile Processing Certification preferred Experience in healthcare systems, sterile processing, logistics, or facilities management preferred Experience leading large-scale operational transformation or process improvement initiatives preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
