Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial), Materials Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations leadership and scheduling within a wafer fabrication facility. 10 years of experience in people management.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field. Experience in SPC (Statistical Process Control) and its operational implementation for process monitoring and yield stability. Proven experience in managing the operational aspects of a larger III-V fab in the US or equivalent. Experience capacity planning and factory simulation within a complex, large-scale, high-mix/high-volume semiconductor environment. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, JMP) to drive data-based decisions for metrics and reporting. Excellent communication, people-management, and change management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. About the job Responsibilities Lead all production teams (epi, fab, test). Ensure execution against daily, weekly, and quarterly goals, consistently meeting safety, quality, and output objectives. Maximize fab throughput by driving daily constraint mitigation for tools, labor, and material, identifying and resolving bottlenecks across the entire production flow. Direct all inbound, shipping, receiving, and internal material movement. Implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels for raw materials, consumables, and finished goods while mitigating obsolescence risks. Define, track, and drive key operational metrics (e.g., OEE, Cycle Time, Yield, WIP). Develop and present regular performance reports directly to executive leadership. Advocate a Lean manufacturing model. Lead and mentor teams to execute continuous efficiency projects that actively reduce waste and improve overall cycle times.
