Job Description:
Responsibilities Lead and manage practice operations teams, ensuring effective support for attorneys, practice groups, and clients. Develop and execute operational strategies, staffing plans, and service standards aligned with business objectives. Oversee workforce planning, workflow distribution, resource allocation, and coverage to meet service and cost goals. Manage performance, employee development, evaluations, compensation recommendations, and employee relations matters. Partner with attorneys, leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with administrative policies, timekeeping, attendance, payroll, and related operational processes. Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development for practice operations staff. Monitor departmental budgets and expenses, including overtime, temporary staffing, and training costs. Foster a collaborative, client-focused culture while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and team performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of management or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred; multi-office management experience is a plus. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills in a client service-driven environment. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities across all organizational levels. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects independently, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address operational challenges. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain professionalism in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Proficient with workplace technology and systems to improve efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery.
