We design and sell professional-grade laser systems direct-to-consumer and through channel partners across North America and international markets. Our team is lean, execution-focused, and moves quickly. Role Summary The Operations Manager is the operational backbone of our US team. You will own the day-to-day execution of sales operations, technical customer service, and project delivery — ensuring every department runs on time, on target, and on budget. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive KPI attainment, enforce SOPs, manage tooling and software configurations, and continuously improve the efficiency of our internal workflows. Key Responsibilities Team Operations & Daily Management Oversee the daily operations of the sales, technical customer service, and project management teams. Hold team members accountable to daily reporting standards, task management hygiene, and communication protocols. Identify execution gaps early and implement corrective action without escalation delay. KPI Management & Performance Set, track, and drive monthly KPIs across all operational functions. Own team scorecards and conduct structured performance reviews. Provide the CEO with concise, data-backed weekly performance summaries. SOP Development & Process Optimization Build, maintain, and enforce SOPs across sales, support, and fulfillment workflows. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase throughput without large-scale system investment. Leverage automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make) to reduce manual work and increase team output. Software & Tooling Administration Manage and configure all operational software — CRM, Shopify, helpdesk, project management, and communication platforms. Audit software subscriptions for ROI; recommend additions or cuts based on actual usage and business impact. Ensure all team members are properly onboarded to tools and using them correctly. Cost Control & Resource Optimization Monitor daily operating costs across logistics, labor, and software. Identify cost-saving opportunities in supply chain, shipping, and team time utilization. Flag cost anomalies proactively and propose corrective measures. Customer Experience Own the customer service workflow from ticket intake to resolution — ensuring response time and quality standards are met. Analyze recurring issues and work with technical and product teams to eliminate root causes. Supply Chain & Inventory Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing to prevent stockouts or overstock. Align purchasing plans with sales pipeline and demand signals. Talent Development Evaluate team capabilities, identify skill gaps, and implement training or improvement plans. Establish clear performance improvement plans when standards are not met. Requirements 5+ years in operations, sales management, technical support, or project management with a clear record of leading teams. Demonstrated success in a role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Strong command of SOP development and process optimization, with documented results. Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Trello, Notion, ClickUp, or equivalent). Comfortable configuring business software — CRM, Shopify, helpdesk, and communication platforms. Analytical mindset — able to read operational data, identify trends, and make fast decisions. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus. Exceptional written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field. What We're Looking For High-ownership mentality. Detail-oriented but fast. Direct communicator. Someone who treats company problems as their own and doesn't wait to be told twice. Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Performance bonus tied to monthly KPI attainment. Health, dental, and vision benefits. Paid time off and company holidays.
