Full Job Description About Malatown:
Malatown is a fast-growing restaurant brand expanding across the United States, focused on building a scalable and standardized multi-unit operation system. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven People & Culture Operations Manager to build and scale our HR and organizational systems from the ground up.
Language Requirement:
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, as this role requires working closely with bilingual teams and documentation.
What You'll Do:
Build Recruiting Systems:
  • Design and manage end-to-end hiring processes
  • Develop scalable recruiting channels
  • Create structured interview processes
  • Partner with store managers
Own Performance Management:
  • Build performance review systems
  • Create KPI-driven scorecards
  • Ensure completion and accountability
Develop Training Programs:
  • Build onboarding systems
  • Create SOP-based materials
  • Track training completion
Drive Culture & Organizational Development:
  • Define company culture
  • Build engagement programs
  • Support leadership development
Manage HR Operations & Compliance:
  • Oversee onboarding and HR systems
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Maintain documentation
Qualifications:
  • 3-6+ years HR or People Ops experience
  • Multi-unit experience preferred
  • Ability to build systems from scratch
  • Strong execution mindset
Compensation:
  • Competitive salary
  • Performance-based bonus
Important:
This role requires hands-on execution. Failure to meet 90-day deliverables may result in termination.
Pay:
$80,000.00
