The Director of Operations reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage and room operations, including staff training, scheduling, inter-departmental communication, and ensuring excellent guest service. This leader must be highly organized, an effective communicator, and able to resolve department issues promptly while setting the tone for a culture of service excellence. Job Description The Director of Room Operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management and delivery of guest room services within the accommodation sector. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance coordination, and guest satisfaction initiatives, to uphold the highest standards of quality and comfort. The role demands strategic planning and execution to optimize operational efficiency, manage budgets, and lead a diverse team of team members. The Director will collaborate closely with other departments such as front desk, food and beverage, and facilities management to create a cohesive guest experience. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance guest satisfaction, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the overall success and reputation of the hospitality establishment.
