Job Description Purpose and Scope:

Supervises the daily activities of an operational unit. Monitors and assists staff to maintain workflow and achieve targeted operational and financial results. Implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Resolve operational issues and escalate complex issues as needed.

Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing daily operations within the department. Meeting customer and company KPI's and SLAs on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis as requested. Evaluating employees based daily duties and responsibilities. Verifying employee time/payroll information. Assisting in managing department workforce, reinforcing company policy and procedure, and establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships across the organization. Assisting manager with planning and budget process. Operate in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines. Communicate with customers, vendors, and employees. Overseeing all shipping/receiving operations.

Qualifications Education/ Training:

Experience:

A minimum of Five (5) years of professional experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
