ABOUT SPIRIT PREPARATORY SCHOOL

Spirit Preparatory School is a premier cheer and athletics training facility in Riverside, CA. We run recreational classes, competition teams, and performance programs for athletes ages 4 and up. As we grow, we're looking for a seasoned operator to help lead and scale our programming with excellence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a leadership role for a self-motivated, highly organized professional with deep experience in cheer, tumbling, or athletic program management. You'll own the day-to-day operations of our programs — from scheduling and competition logistics to coach support and enrollment strategy. You'll work directly with school leadership and be trusted to make decisions independently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Oversee all program operations across cheer, tumbling, and competition teams Build and manage class and team schedules Lead all competition logistics: registration, timelines, rosters, uniforms, and travel coordination Support, mentor, and help train coaching staff Assist in choreography planning and routine structure Ensure compliance with safety standards and training protocols Monitor enrollment trends and adjust programming as needed Collaborate with school leadership on growth strategy and program development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of experience in cheer, dance, or athletic program leadership Competition team experience strongly preferred Exceptional organizational and scheduling skills Proven ability to lead a team and manage competing priorities Comfortable working independently with high accountability Evenings and occasional weekend availability required
