Job Description

Operations Manager
  • Windansea Coconuts (The Bitter Herb LLC) San Diego, CA | Full-Time through September 30, 2026 About Us Windansea Coconuts is San Diego's premier experiential marketing and coconut activation company.
We show up at corporate conferences, weddings, brand activations, and hospitality events and turn a coconut into a moment people actually remember. The Role We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can run the warehouse, own event logistics, and be the person on the ground making sure every activation goes off without a hitch. This is not a desk job. You'll be lifting coconuts, driving to venues, managing inventory, and coordinating a small crew
  • then helping us build the systems that scale the whole operation. What You'll Do Load, transport, and set up activation equipment for events across San Diego and beyond Manage warehouse inventory
  • coconuts, carts, stamps, branded gear, and supplies Coordinate event staffing and day-of logistics with the founder and event team Drive company product and equipment to and from events (personal SUV required) Build and maintain operational SOPs so nothing falls through the cracks Support client communication and vendor coordination as needed Help develop wholesale distribution workflows as that side of the business grows What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in event production, hospitality operations, or a related field You own a personal SUV or truck•this is a hard requirement Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly Extremely organized and self-directed•you don't need someone telling you what to do next Comfortable in fast-paced, unpredictable environments (events are events) San Diego-based and available for weekend events A team player who takes pride in making things look good Nice to Have Experience in food and beverage, catering, or experiential marketing Familiarity with Square, Google Workspace, or inventory management tools A sense of humor and a genuine love for what you do
