6/18/2026 About the Role The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple clinics and programs delivering mental health and substance use services across an assigned region. This senior leadership role ensures alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory and contractual compliance, fiscal performance, and service quality. The Regional Director partners with internal leadership and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and sustainable program outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee regional program operations to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards Establish and execute regional goals aligned with corporate objectives, including fiscal performance, program development, and workforce management Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Program Directors and supervisors Monitor and evaluate program performance, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Utilize data to drive program improvement, quality assurance, and operational effectiveness Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA standards Manage regional budgets and support financial planning, forecasting, and sustainability efforts Lead workforce management activities including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development Ensure staff training compliance and support ongoing training initiatives Develop and maintain strong relationships with county, community, and state partners Represent the organization and support regional growth through stakeholder engagement and collaboration Complete reports and required documentation in a timely and accurate manner Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in program management, operations, or healthcare environments Strong understanding of systems of care and reimbursement structures Experience with business operations, financial oversight, and performance management Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve program performance Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mental Health, Mental Health Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business Operations, or a related field Experience overseeing multi-site operations or regional program leadership Experience in behavioral health or human services environments
