ABOUT THE ROLE
FIELD
PROJECTS LEAD
The Field Projects Lead is responsible for field execution across active projects, including crew management, labor productivity, and budget/schedule performance. This role ensures that work in the field is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals, while clearly communicating updates externally to the client and internally to Logistics and Operations leadership. Position Details Department / Crew Field Operations Reports To Head of Operations Key Responsibilities Oversee field crews and active job sites Manage Foremen and ensure consistent field leadership across projects Own labor planning and crew scheduling across jobs Work with procurement staff to order all required parts and equipment to site per schedule Utilize software to create and update project schedule Communicate periodic job site updates to client and Panico Leadership in a professional and appropriate manner. Monitor labor productivity and job progress against schedule/budget Ensure work is executed according to plans, scope, and company standards Serve as the primary escalation point for field-related issues Identify scope changes and ensure they are communicated upward Clearly communicate equipment, material, and resource needs to Logistics Coordinate with Operations to align field execution with project priorities Enforce safety standards and job site compliance across all crews Drive accountability and consistency in field performance Identify and communicate issues early to support efficient project execution Qualifications Basic Qualifications 3+ years of excavation or heavy civil construction experience 2+ years in leadership project management or supervisory role managing crews Strong understanding of field operations, sequencing, and production Familiarity with project management software Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple job sites simultaneously Strong leadership and team development skills Core Competencies Leadership Accountability Communication Decision Making Problem Solving Execution Focus Physical Requirements Ability to travel between job sites regularly Ability to walk active construction sites and stand for extended periods Work Environment Primarily field-based with frequent movement between job sites Additional Information This role owns field execution and crew performance. Success is measured by productivity, schedule adherence, safety, and the ability to proactively communicate needs and issues to support overall operations. Employment with PANICO is at-will.
