Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance & Hospitality Support team member is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the winery estate. This position performs general maintenance and repair work, janitorial services, and hospitality support to ensure all buildings, guest spaces, event venues, offices, and outdoor areas remain clean, safe, operational, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, service-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work could take place as Viansa Winery, BR Cohn Winery, or Kunde Family Winery. Maintenance Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing work sites by cleaning, loading, and unloading materials and tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Support skilled trades by supplying tools and materials.
  • Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Identify and report hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Operate forklifts or other equipment when certified.
  • Work safely following all PPE and company safety requirements. Hospitality Support Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily setup and breakdown of tasting areas, patios, event spaces, and hospitality venues.
  • Set up tables, chairs, umbrellas, heaters, furniture, and guest amenities.
  • Support weddings, wine club events, and private events by transporting and staging equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain guest areas throughout the day to ensure they remain clean and presentable.
  • Replenish guest amenities including propane, firewood, water stations, and umbrellas.
  • Move wine, retail merchandise, and event supplies between locations.
  • Support Hospitality, Events, and Estate teams with operational needs.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, utility vehicles, and forklifts (when certified). Janitorial & Estate Cleaning Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all public and employee restrooms throughout the day.
  • Restock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Clean all rooms throughout the estate including tasting rooms, hospitality spaces, event venues, offices, meeting rooms, break rooms, kitchens, storage rooms, and other assigned spaces.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, furniture, countertops, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the estate.
  • Clean interior and exterior glass and entryways.
  • Maintain patios, terraces, courtyards, outdoor furniture, and guest gathering areas.
  • Respond promptly to spills and emergency cleaning needs.
  • Assist with deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning projects.
  • Report maintenance issues identified during cleaning. Customer Service Expectations
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide basic directions or assistance when approached by guests.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to provide exceptional guest experience. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, janitorial, construction, hospitality, or winery experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Required Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule Expectations
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
