Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of our location. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on operational excellence, team development, and branch profitability. What You'll Do You will be responsible for the overall efficiency and profitability of the branch, with a focus on building a high-performing field team and maintaining smooth daily operations.
Core responsibilities include:
Hire, lead, and mentor field personnel to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction Coordinate scheduling and deployment of field staff and equipment Manage inventory of supplies and oversee equipment maintenance and repair Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards Organize and coordinate ongoing training and development programs, including safety training Oversee branch reporting of profit and loss Drive process improvement initiatives to maximize branch efficiency What We're Looking For Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience Degree in Business Management, Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent field experience preferred Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions without constant oversight Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving and continuous improvement Why Join Us Competitive base salary of $90,000 plus an annual performance bonus Comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance Paid time off and a 401(k) with company match Robust training and continuing education opportunities A collaborative culture where you'll work alongside skilled, experienced colleagues Clear pathways to advance your career and deepen your industry expertise Resources and support available across our broader network of locations Requirements Valid U.S. Driver's License Must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States Physical Demands The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as part of the essential functions of this role.
