Compensation Traveler Pay:
$65-70/hr ($2,437
  • $2,625 weekly) based on experience
Local Pay:
$60-63/hr ($2,250
  • $2,362 weekly) based on experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee and lead multiple operational functions across the region, including Sterile Processing, Transportation, and Facilities operations.
This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, leadership development, and continuous process improvement while supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive multi-site operational leadership experience within healthcare or related operational environments and demonstrate the ability to lead teams, improve performance, and support large-scale operational initiatives. Responsibilities Regional Leadership & Strategy Provide oversight and leadership across regional operations including Sterile Processing, Transportation, and Facilities Lead and develop site-level Directors, Managers, and Coordinators across multiple operational departments Establish regional operational priorities, goals, and performance standards Align operations with organizational strategy and growth initiatives Promote collaboration and integration across departments to ensure operational efficiency Operations & Compliance Oversight Ensure compliance with AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards across all regional sites Oversee audit preparedness, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities Standardize workflows, documentation practices, and operational procedures across locations Monitor performance trends and proactively address operational risks and inefficiencies Leadership Development & Talent Management Mentor and coach operational leaders across all functional areas Develop leadership pipelines and succession planning initiatives in collaboration with HR and Talent teams Support hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies for operational leadership roles Drive accountability, performance management, and leadership development initiatives Quality & Continuous Improvement Oversee key regional performance metrics including quality, turnaround times, throughput, and service reliability Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives Identify and implement best practices across multiple sites and departments Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and service excellence Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the regional operational leader in collaboration with healthcare partners and operational stakeholders Ensure operational services meet customer expectations and service-level commitments Partner with leadership teams across Operations, Logistics, and Facilities to support organizational goals Represent regional operations in executive meetings, planning sessions, and growth initiatives Requirements Education & Certifications CRCST certification or equivalent sterile processing certification strongly preferred Required Experience Minimum 10 years of operational leadership experience required Minimum 5 years of multi-site leadership experience required Proven success leading operations across multiple functional areas such as SPD, logistics, facilities, or related healthcare operations Required Skills Strong knowledge of healthcare operational standards, regulatory compliance, and transportation environments Proven leadership and team development abilities Experience managing and scaling operations across multiple locations Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced operational settings Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across departments and leadership teams For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
