Job Description

Operations Manager —
Automotive Service Location:
Centennial, CO — this is a field-based role that rotates regularly among the company's service locations across the Denver metro / Front Range (reliable transportation required). About the company A growing, established automotive service company operating multiple repair locations in Colorado is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive performance, consistency, and leadership development across all of its stores. About the role Reporting directly to the executive team, you'll own day-to-day and strategic operational performance across the company's service centers. You'll split your time across locations rather than working from a single site, so comfort with a mobile, in-the-stores work style is essential. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can get into the shops, build accountability systems, develop managers, and prepare a multi-location business to scale. What you'll do Own operational and financial performance across all locations — sales growth, average repair order, car count, effective labor rate, parts margin, technician productivity and efficiency, and comeback ratio Build and run management accountability systems: performance scorecards, weekly manager meetings, and quarterly reviews Coach and develop store managers; build leadership bench strength and internal promotion pipelines Standardize and finalize SOPs so every location runs consistently Drive customer experience metrics — online reviews, customer retention, and facility standards Establish KPI dashboards and reporting for the executive team Assess current operations, identify gaps, and execute improvement plans Prepare the organization operationally for future expansion What we're looking for Proven multi-unit / multi-location operations leadership experience (automotive service, retail service, franchise, or similar multi-site environments) Track record of improving operational and financial KPIs across multiple locations Strong people-leadership skills — you've developed managers, not just managed staff Comfort with metrics, accountability systems, and SOP development Familiarity with shop management and digital vehicle inspection software a plus Willingness to be present across locations on the Front Range Compensation & benefits
Salary:
