This vital role combines hands-on management of construction site activities with a strong focus on safety compliance, risk mitigation, and team leadership. As a key driver of safety culture and operational efficiency, you will ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality projects on time while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role reports directly to the Project Managers and is designed for an experienced electrician who excels at safety, leadership, and technical oversight. While previous formal safety is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who has the required technical background and a commitment to job site safety. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to risk management, taking immediate corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to coordinate safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and compliance management initiatives utilizing construction management software tools. Monitor adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and other relevant codes during project execution. Maintain detailed records of safety audits, training logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation for ongoing review and reporting purposes. Resource Management by maintaining up to date tool inventory, vehicle maintenance and safety equipment along with equipment tracking to ensure field teams have what they need to succeed. Qualifications Must be a licensed Journeyman Electrician Minimum of 10 years in Electrical Commercial Construction A company vehicle will be provided with a clean driving record and a valid driver license a must, traveling to multiple job sites in the Denver Metro area on a daily basis. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, risk management strategies, and occupational health standards. Familiarity with NEC standards and compliance management systems specific to the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives effectively across multiple sites while managing diverse teams. Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics, inspections, and project documentation. As well the ability to read large-scale commercial blue prints. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train teams on safety procedures and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification are highly desirable.
