Our business model is seasonal. We are very busy in the summer months (May-October) and lighter business levels for the remainder of the year.
Job Description:
The catering Operations lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operations team in a manner that ensures that the highest standards are met. The perfect candidate will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization while demonstrating multitasking and organizational skills. The catering Operations lead will report directly to the catering Operations manager and assist in warehouse logistics and event execution. The catering Operations lead will uphold and implement the core values held by Rocky Mountain Catering + Events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support all operating standards and practices including, but not limited to: Provide excellent customer service to guests while you are in the RMC office, and clients while you are on site. Foster a positive work environment that boosts morale and productivity while improving communication between departments. Express collaborative ideas to assist in solving areas of opportunities. Motivate and support team members to complete operations tasks. Engage and participate in departmental meetings. Troubleshoot issues and think quickly on your feet to manage all Operations concerns. Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and safety adherence to standards. Assist Operations manager in managing daily catering operations including, but not limited to: Assist Operation manager in managing all aspects of food & equipment transportation, safety of loading and unloading vehicles, and meeting quality assurances.

Coordination of hot food deliveries. Be able to properly set up and execute disposable deliveries. Train new team members on the correct procedures of business operations. Assist team members in loading and unloading vehicles properly. Restocking and communicating any inventory issues. Responsible for properly executing food & equipment expo on vehicles. Confidently responding to inquiries and concerns about specific events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months of related experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to delegate tasks to team members. Outstanding work ethic & self-motivated. Good morale and integrity. Attention to detail while being passionate about seeing positive results. Ability to use Google docs, Microsoft office, word and excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment. The physical activity that you will be need to perform are: Flexible and long hours. Lifting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. Be adaptive in working in extreme temperatures changes outside periodical throughout the day. Must be able to do light maintenance repairs of equipment. Use dollies, carts, hand trucks and other gear to move items around.
