Job Description

Directs all manufacturing operations within a facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability. This position is responsible for coordinating production, distribution, and plant-based marketing efforts and works collaboratively with various teams to meet business goals. This role requires leadership skills, operational knowledge, and a hands-on approach to solving complex production and personnel challenges. Roles Reporting Directly to this
Position:
Production Managers & Supervisors Role Priorities:
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations including safety, production, and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain operational schedules and quality control procedures
  • Prepare budgets, ROI analyses, and capital expense recommendations
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance plans
  • Foster a culture of employee safety, engagement, and development
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate all operational activities at the manufacturing plant.
  • Review production costs and implement changes to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Maintain schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Develop and justify capital expense projects and create annual operations budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and address employee concerns promptly.
  • Lead and train operational staff, fostering a hands-on and people-oriented environment.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of related management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and lead operational improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial, operational, and production data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Working Conditions, Environment, and Physical Demands:
This role requires frequent presence on the plant floor and in an office setting. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and remain on feet for long periods. May be exposed to moderate noise and mechanical hazards requiring PPE compliance.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be required for training or corporate meetings.
Pay:
$120,000.00
