Position Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of their respective locations. The overall goal is to manage the operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success. They create, foster, and promote a professional environment and culture of engagement. Along with the General Manager, they will provide strategic direction and leadership, to ensure employee engagement, retention and client satisfaction and loyalty.
Position Responsibilities:
- Daily review of operations including scheduling, delegation of tasks and monitoring service delivery to ensure high standards of care. This includes overseeing multiple care packages, home visits, coordinating resources and ensuring staff adhere to policies and procedures
- Organize and oversee the performance of department managers and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct staff that are timely and constructive by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Handle corrective action and termination of employees as needed for their office
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines and standards of efficiency and effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee all departments for your location to ensure each is reaching goals set by General Manager
- Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor and forecast budgets and cost of services in each location to achieve financial objectives
- Partner with client management personnel to create, foster and maintain optimal client services, satisfaction and loyalty
- Oversight of sales and driving revenue growth by working along the Liaison
- Act as a point of contact for your locations clients and families by addressing concerns, providing feedback mechanisms, and promoting services within the community which may or may not include attending events.
This ensures client satisfaction and supports the organization's reputation
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams effectively Knowledge of home care regulations, quality standards, and best practices in elderly or community care Ability to manage budgets, operational planning, and resource allocation efficiently Problem
- solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and improve service delivery Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to successfully pass a background and CAPS check
