SimpleSUB Water • Denver, CO (preferred) • Reports to the CEO Inline water submetering can't be retrofitted into existing buildings: cutting into live pipe is too costly and too risky, so it simply doesn't happen. We changed that. Our clamp-on submeters install without touching the pipe and connect over cellular, which opens up an enormous market of existing buildings traditional metering could never reach. Now we need someone to build the operation that delivers it at scale. We're hiring a Director of Implementation & Customer Operations to own how we implement and deliver for customers as we expand from smaller owner-operators into large HOA communities, multifamily portfolios, retail property groups, and enterprise customers with hundreds of locations. This is the function the CEO runs today. You'll take it over and build the systems, team, and installer network that let it run without him. What you'll own: Implementation & delivery from contract signature to launch: project management, installation coordination, billing setup, and the communication that keeps large, multi-stakeholder rollouts on track. A repeatable pilot-to-portfolio playbook. A strong pilot opens the door to a full portfolio rollout. You'll make that motion consistent and measurable. A national installation strategy across internal installers, contractors, plumbers, and partners, with the quality standards and capacity to scale. Billing operations , including the processes and compliance controls behind accurate resident billing as we expand what we offer. The team and the operating system : coaching the existing team (including outsourced support), building segmentation and service tiers, and creating the SOPs, playbooks, and KPIs that turn tribal knowledge into a system. You're probably a fit if you've: Coordinated physical installations, field crews, or multi-site deployments. Backgrounds in solar, telecom, construction, field services, utilities, or PropTech translate especially well. Built operational systems from a blank page in a growing company, and rolled up your sleeves to drive the hard projects yourself. Led and developed a team, ideally including a distributed or outsourced function. You don't need water industry experience (we'll teach you), a traditional SaaS Customer Success background (this isn't that), or a prior VP title. Why it's worth your time: you'd build a core function of the company from the ground up, with real ownership and a direct line to the CEO. We run on EOS, so you'll have clear priorities and accountability from week one. This is a foundational leadership hire, backed with meaningful equity alongside competitive cash compensation, for someone who can grow as the company scales. Denver-based strongly preferred.
