Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fine Wine Specialist role based in Miami, FL. The Fine Wine Specialist will guide guests through the selection of fine wines and rare spirits, providing consultative recommendations tailored to their tastes, collections, and occasions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-depth wine education conversations, supporting private tastings and pairing experiences, and assisting with the curation and merchandising of the retail floor and private showroom. The role will also involve managing sales transactions, maintaining product knowledge on new and allocated releases, supporting inventory organization, and collaborating with the team on events and brand activations. The Fine Wine Specialist will uphold a welcoming, inclusive environment while representing the Rare Collects brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Qualifications Proven experience in Wine Sales and the Beverage Industry, with a focus on fine wine and premium spirits. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver attentive, personalized guest experiences. Wine Education background and/or Sommelier training (certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred). Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex wine concepts in accessible terms. Comfort working in a high-end retail or hospitality environment, including evenings and weekends as needed for events. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory, displays, and tasting setups. Passion for craftsmanship, curiosity about global wine regions and producers, and a commitment to ongoing learning. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle cases and bottles as part of daily operations.
