We need your energy, expertise, and a passion for excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations to ensure high customer satisfaction, employee development, operational efficiency and drive profitability through effective management of our parts and service operations. Your leadership will inspire a high-performance team dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate is energetic, transparent, detail-oriented, and possesses a comprehensive understanding of fixed ops at a franchise dealership. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the service and parts team to achieve operational goals, maintain high productivity levels, and uphold quality standards. Oversee all aspects of automotive diagnostics, repairs, warranty and maintenance services. Manage daily shop operations such as scheduling appointments, assigning work orders, and ensuring timely completion of services. Implement upselling strategies by identifying additional vehicle needs like auto estimating and service writing opportunities to maximize revenue while maintaining customer trust. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop environment conducive to efficient workflow. Handle customer interactions professionally—addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business. Monitor cash handling procedures accurately and oversee dealership-specific processes related to vehicle sales and service transactions. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot complex automotive issues using automotive diagnostics expertise. Track key parts and service performance indicators (KPIs), analyze department performance data, and develop strategies for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in Fixed Operations management (preferably at an import franchise dealership) Skilled and experienced in leading, coaching and developing fixed ops staff Experience in establishing departmental goals and KPIsand setting strategy to optimize operational efficiency Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Experience in sales within an automotive setting; ability to upsell services effectively without compromising integrity. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of technicians and support staff effectively. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining dealership protocols.
