Job Description

Join the Suwannee Valley 4C'sTeam! Suwannee Valley 4Cs is the Head Start and Early Head Start grantee in Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette and Suwannee counties. Established in 1985, we are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of low-income children and their families by offering comprehensive early childhood development services.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Organize and coordinate the daily activities of Live Oak Early Head Start site, as assigned, in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, Head Start Act, Department of Children & Families Child Care Standards and policies of the agency, as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related degree, preferred
CDA/FCCPC
required Child care training (Parts
I & II - 40
hours) requirement pursuant to Chapter 65C-22 5 Hour Literacy Course as required by DCF Must possess Directors Credentials as set forth by Department of Children and Families, as required One year experience on-site as a child care director preferred Three years of classroom experience working with relevant age of children Supervisory experience Must have current First Aid/CPR Must pass physical and Department of Children and Families background screening requirements Must have access to dependable transportation with valid current liability insurance, valid Florida driver's license, safe driving record EOE / Drug Free Workplace Our Agency is Required to Participate in the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
