Position Summary The Site Coordinator will serve as a lead classroom teacher while also receiving hands-on training in childcare management and school operations. This position will work closely with center leadership to support teachers, assist with curriculum implementation, and help maintain a positive, high-quality learning environment throughout the school. Responsibilities Lead and manage an assigned classroom Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and classroom activities Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Assist management with daily center operations and procedures Support onboarding and training of new teachers Help ensure curriculum and classroom standards are implemented consistently across the program Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive classroom management strategies Participate in leadership training and professional development opportunities Assist with maintaining compliance with licensing and health & safety standards Qualifications CDA or equivalent credential required Florida Director Credential preferred Experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Strong leadership and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn management procedures Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with a team Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred DCF 45 hours completed or willingness to complete required training CPR/First Aid certification preferred We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, team-oriented, and excited to grow within the field of early childhood education.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
