Job Description:

The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF) is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of underserved children and their families through consistent, high-impact programming and community-driven events across South Florida. LLF produces some of Miami's most recognized philanthropic events and community programs. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Program Director (Operations-Focused) to lead programs, events, operations, and financial coordination across the organization. This is a hands-on role for a strong operator who can manage both strategy and detailed execution-from budgeting and backend systems to on-site event leadership and volunteer coordination. Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of all programs and major events (including Hearts & Stars Gala and Miami Swim Week)
• Manage vendors, sponsors, logistics, and on-site operations
• Oversee ticketing and registration platforms (Eventbrite or similar), including guest lists and check-in
• Manage day-to-day operations, timelines, and internal coordination
• Develop and manage budgets; track expenses and process payments
• Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage donor and program data using CRM systems (Bloomerang or similar)
• Recruit, manage, and communicate with volunteers and community partners
• This role requires full ownership of execution across multiple initiatives simultaneously Qualifications
• 2-7+ years of relevant hands-on experience in operations, events, nonprofit, or similar environments
• Strong proficiency in Excel (budgeting, tracking, reporting) required
• Experience managing budgets and executing events
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented and execution-focused Preferred (Not Required)
• Nonprofit experience
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Bloomerang)
• Experience with ticketing platforms (Eventbrite or similar) What We're Looking For
