We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and people-oriented Director of Operations & Family Experience to become a key leader within our organization. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with families, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for students and parents. Position Mission Your mission is to ensure every operational system runs smoothly so the Director can focus on vision, growth, partnerships, innovation, fundraising, and instructional leadership. You will be the operational backbone of the organization while serving as one of the primary faces of our learning community. What You'll Oversee Registration and enrollment management • Family communication and support systems Event planning and coordination Billing and collections oversight Vendor management and coordination Staff onboarding logistics Calendar and scheduling management Administrative systems and processes Project management Operational problem-solving Executive support Front desk and family experience management Tour scheduling and prospective family follow-up Assisting with enrollment growth initiatives Family Experience Responsibilities This is not a traditional administrative position. You will often be the first person families interact with when they call, visit, or tour our campus. You will:
■ Answer incoming inquiries from prospective families ■ Help schedule and coordinate school tours ■ Follow up with interested families ■ Build positive relationships with parents ■ Create a welcoming environment for visitors ■ Support enrollment growth through exceptional communication and service ■ Serve as a daily point of contact for families during student drop-off and pick-up What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Outgoing, positive, and charismatic Exceptionally organized A natural conversationalist Professional and polished Clear and articulate communicator Comfortable speaking on the phone throughout the day Highly proactive and resourceful Strong problem-solver Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Passionate about helping children and families Required Qualifications 3+ years of administrative, operations, office management, customer service, admissions, or related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer and organizational skills Experience managing calendars, projects, and administrative systems Professional phone presence Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Experience in education, private schools, microschools, childcare, enrichment programs, or family-focused organizations Admissions or enrollment experience Event planning experience CRM or student information system experience Why Join Curious Innovators?
