We have an immediate need for an
OPERATIONS MANAGER
to service our Alpharetta, GA

An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding service. The core requirements of the Operations Manager will be to train, develop and manage maintenance foreman and their crews.
Primary Responsibilities:
Train and develop foremen to become exceptional leaders and build a strong team. Complete performance evaluations and equipment certifications Partner with Human Resources on Recruitment, as needed, for maintenance teams. Maintain proper crew headcount, managing the daily schedule to meet productivity goals. Know daily headcount requirements, schedule efficient routes, align talent with properties. Ensure service quality meets or exceeds Crabapple expectations. Plan property inspections to inspect what you expect. Meet all productivity and efficiency goals. Daily management and monitoring of budgeted hours and proper scheduling. Retain a minimum of 90% of book of business over the calendar year. Partner with the Customer Relations Managers (CRM's) to understand the customers' needs. Hold team accountable for the proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment and trucks. Consistent monitoring and training to be sure crews understand and meet expectations. Ensure that all OSHA safety and DOT driving guidelines are being adhered to. Ensure the positive Crabapple culture and image is present throughout your crews. Prepare reporting and attend meetings, internally or externally, as requested

  • Work carefully and with attention to detail Teamwork Focused Mindset Responsible and Dependable Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and other Jobsite and Driver Safety Regulations Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate and interpret technical terms and instructions clearly, professionally, and effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously. Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Must be organized, resourceful, and proactive.
Requirements:
A minimum of three (3) years of Operations Management experience in landscape / green industry. Experience in successfully managing up to 5 people in a Supervisory Role. High level of accountability for results to ensure deliverables are met. Four-year degree preferred, equivalent experience acceptable. Bilingual English
  • Spanish is a huge plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, general knowledge of computers required. Ability to travel to construction sites and satellite branches as needed. Possess a Valid Driver's License and Have and Maintain an acceptable MVR for business travel and approval for company insurance. Carry and use a smart phone and / or data enabled device for business communications and reporting. Authorized to work in the US. Work Conditions /
Essential Functions:
Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (
IE:
heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, cold, etc.) Ability to walk and / or stand for long periods of time. Manual, labor intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 60 lbs. Travel to and work at various locations including both North and South Branches and job sites Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work (only in extreme circumstances) Required to work around heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
