This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership and operational experience who enjoys managing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service to clients and members. The ideal candidate may come from healthcare operations, office management, customer service leadership, pharmacy operations, insurance administration, or a similar fast-paced service environment. PBM experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is highly organized, team-oriented, solutions-driven, and excited to grow with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization.
  • Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Support
  • Lead and support a team of Account Managers, Coordinators, Customer Service Representatives, and operational staff.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Help establish team goals, workflows, and service expectations. Operations Management
  • Help oversee daily operations within the Shield PBM division.
  • Monitor service levels, operational workflows, and client support activities.
  • Assist in improving internal processes and operational efficiency.
  • Help maintain standard operating procedures and operational consistency.
  • Support issue resolution and ensure timely follow-up on client and member needs. Client & Service Support
  • Support Account Management teams in delivering excellent client service.
  • Participate in client meetings and internal operational discussions as needed.
  • Assist with implementation activities and ongoing client support.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure a positive client and member experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with: o Operations o Customer Service o Account Management o Pharmacy Teams o Finance o IT o Compliance
  • Help ensure strong communication and coordination across departments.
  • Qualifications Preferred Experience
  • Leadership or management experience in one or more of the following: o Healthcare operations o Insurance or benefits administration o Pharmacy operations o Customer service management o Office management o Healthcare administration o Call center operations o PBM or TPA environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading teams and improving workflows.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and operational systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills. Nice to Have
  • PBM or pharmacy-related experience.
  • Experience working with employer groups or healthcare clients.
  • Experience with reporting, metrics, or operational performance tracking.

Leadership Growth Potential Salary Range:
$65,000
  • 85,000 plus bonus opportunity based on experience and performance.
