Job Description

Regional Manager Position Overview:
The Regional Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for all janitorial operations across assigned facilities, and reports directly to the National Director of Operations. This role provides strategic oversight of service delivery, ensures compliance with contractual requirements, and drives operational consistency across all locations. Acting as the primary representative to client leadership, the Regional Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, manages budgets across the region, and leads Area Managers to achieve high levels of performance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Leadership and Client Liaison Directly report to and implement initiatives from the National Director of Operations, while acting as primary liaison with client site-level management. Represent ServiceMaster by Crane IFS in daily, weekly, and ad hoc client meetings and audits. Respond to audit reports and coordinate actions to maintain compliance and performance, resulting in adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Lead and mentor Site Managers of multiple locations to deliver high-quality cleaning services, while inspecting work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Operational Oversight and Performance Monitoring Monitor and report on contract performance, including financial metrics and service quality. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement. Conduct ongoing audits of service performance versus scope and project directives. Complete and submit all reporting requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Work within set budgets for labor and materials, while monitoring labor hours and overtime. Safety and Compliance Collaborate with HR and administrative support to ensure proper onboarding/offboarding, completion of required training, payroll accuracy, and issue resolution. Ensure full compliance with workplace safety regulations. Be reasonably available outside of regular business hours to respond to urgent operational or safety issues, either remotely or in-person, depending on severity.
Additional Essential Functions:

Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects. Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications and Physical Demands:
Bachelor's degree in business management, Operations, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing janitorial contracts. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Strong leadership, team development, and performance management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to maintain positive client relationships. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Significant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and crawling. Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and good driving record required. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds frequently.
