Full Job Description Overview:

Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Business Manager to support ongoing project activity in Hawaii. This position will be responsible for accounting for the budgeted and actual cost of operations, processes, departments, and/or products and the analysis of variances and/or profitability. Responsibilities:

The respnsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large-scale projects. Under general direction, makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s). Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments. Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information. Reviews contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 2

years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Heavy civil project accounting experience.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 per year depending on experience and/or education. Shimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical - including a NO-COST option, dental, and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA. The Company also provides employer paid STD, LTD, basic life and AD&D, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional voluntary benefit offerings include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal and identity theft protection. These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage as well as EAP services.
