Director, IKC Operations 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Posting Date 01/30/2026 2624 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Iowa, 50023-4704, United States of America DaVita Integrated Kidney Care is seeking a visionary leader to architect and implement end-of-life care and palliative care strategies at scale across our national operations in our value-based care programs. As Director of Palliative Care, you will serve as the principal designer for how frontline staff and care teams ensure patients with kidney disease receive appropriate end-of-life care, with initial focus on leveraging our Supportive Care team to serve high-complexity patients. This role represents a transformative opportunity to advance care for patients with kidney disease facing serious illness and end-of-life decisions, combining strategic design, cross-functional partnership, and policy advocacy to create sustainable, scalable models of care.
Required Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in healthcare-related field (MD, NP, PA, MSW, nursing, public health, healthcare administration) requiredExperience:
7-10+ years progressive leadership experience in palliative care or end-of-life care, with demonstrated success building and scaling clinical programsClinical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of palliative care principles, serious illness communication, and end-of-life care; nephrology/kidney disease experience highly preferredOperational Excellence:
Proven track record in operations management, including experience working in matrix organizations and managing cross-functional initiatives at scaleStrategic Thinking:
Demonstrated ability to design programs from the ground up, develop implementation roadmaps, and scale interventions across large organizationsData-Driven:
Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to identify opportunities, measure impact, and drive decision-makingStakeholder Management:
Exceptional relationship-building skills; ability to influence without direct authority and partner effectively across all organizational levelsChange Management:
Experience leading organizational change initiatives, navigating resistance, and building buy-in across diverse stakeholder groupsFinancial Acumen:
