Seasonal May 1 - Oct 31 McCall, ID Operations Manager Small Concrete Batch Plant & Mixing-Trailer Rental Business • Single-operator role • Outdoor/Indoor environment $5,000 - $7,000 / month In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the complete day-to-day operations of a small concrete batch plant and trailer rental business in McCall, ID. As the sole operator, you will manage all aspects of the business, including customer service, concrete production and loading, trailer rentals, scheduling, site maintenance, and equipment operation. What you'll do Manage customer calls and inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact from start to finish Schedule concrete batching jobs and trailer rentals, then coordinate daily workflow Operate the concrete batch plant to produce and load fresh concrete for customers Manage trailer rentals — prepare, inspect, rent out, and return trailers (including cleaning and basic maintenance after each rental) Operate and maintain all on-site equipment, including front loaders, mixers, and heavy machinery Perform basic mechanical upkeep and troubleshooting to keep the plant and trailers running smoothly Keep the site clean, organized, and running safely and efficiently Requirements Experience operating a front loader and/or other heavy equipment Experience with concrete batching or ready-mix operations (preferred) Valid driver's license Mechanical aptitude — comfortable with basic maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills What we're looking for Self-starter Works independently with minimal oversight Organized Manages multiple tasks Accountable — takes ownership and follows through Problem-solver — handles challenges calmly and efficiently Perks & benefits Private office space included A personal, climate-controlled office is provided on-site for your use throughout the season.
