Director of Operations and Commercial Strategy Seeking an experienced Senior Project -
Program Manager Requirements:
Degree + 10-15 years relevant experience, specializing in manufacturing processes and projects Focus on: Commercial & Operations Strategy (Manufacturing / Commercial Transformation) $195K-$225K base salary + bonus Champaign, IL area in East Central IL Onsite position with relocation available In this role, you will report into executive leadership and have responsibility for critical company initiatives in manufacturing, product development, and commercial performance . If you have experience in managing complex projects in plant operations, engineering, and go-to-market teams—with a track record of driving tangible results—this is the opportunity to utilize that expertise at a strategic level.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and overseeing enterprise-level initiatives across operations, engineering, and commercial teams Driving revenue growth, margin enhancement, and operational efficiency throughout the organization Managing product development and commercialization projects (NPI) in a manufacturing setting Enhancing salesforce effectiveness, channel performance, and customer interactions Implementing tools and systems (including AI-based capabilities) to enhance execution and visibility Ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget Providing clear, data-driven updates and ROI-focused insights to executive leadership Preferred qualifications for this role: Proven experience leading impactful projects in manufacturing or industrial sectors Solid grasp of plant operations, supply chain, and product commercialization Background in NPI, product launches, or engineering-focused programs Exposure to commercial or go-to-market initiatives (sales, channels, pricing, etc.) Ability to drive alignment without direct authority Demonstrated track record of delivering tangible results, not just strategizing Benefits of this role: Direct interaction with CEO and executive team Ownership of initiatives impacting growth and performance Opportunity to work on manufacturing execution and commercial transformation Environment focused on execution and tangible outcomes This role emphasizes both building and operating, rather than solely strategic planning—a perfect fit for individuals with experience leading initiatives within manufacturing environments seeking broader enterprise impact.
