Thursday Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and passionate After School Program Site Coordinator to lead and manage our engaging after school programs. This program plays a vital role in helping students succeed academically, plan for their futures, and thrive socially and emotionally—especially those who have been exposed to violence or trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the after school and summer program Supervise program staff, volunteers, and partner facilitators.
Coordinate and implement programming including:
STEM activities Art enrichment Field trips and special events Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all students. Maintain accurate attendance, reports, and communication with families and school staff. Support youth impacted by violence through trauma-informed practices and mentoring. Communicate regularly with school administration and community partners.
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth in an educational or community setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for youth development and equity in education. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning.
