Job Description

Overview The Director of Revenue Cycle Management & Operations is the senior operating leader of iMed's revenue cycle business. The role reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the day-to-day operational engine of iMed — providing revenue cycle services to medical and specialty practices across the United States, supported by teams in India and Pakistan. This is a hands-on operational leadership role. The Director owns service delivery quality, operational efficiency, team development, and client retention across the iMed business. They partner with the leadership team on strategy, with the Sales and Customer Success organizations on growth, with the Business Operations and Intelligence (BOI) function on performance analytics, with R&D on platform and automation, and with Finance on operating budget and reporting. The right candidate is someone who has run a medical RCM operation at meaningful scale, who understands the operational nuances of medical and specialty practice billing across multiple specialties, and who can build culture and accountability across an onshore-plus-offshore operating model. Responsibilities Operational Leadership Own end-to-end service delivery for the iMed business, including collections performance, days in A/R, denial management, credentialing turnaround, claim resolution velocity, and client SLA adherence. Lead the operations team across the Billing Manager organization, the Account Manager team, and the Operations Supervisor team. Establish and maintain operating KPIs across the business; partner with the BOI department on dashboards, performance analytics, and automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve insight quality. Continuously improve onboarding, ongoing service delivery, and client communication processes. Manage operating budget and resource allocation for the iMed line of business, partnering with Finance on monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting. Apply process discipline to the day-to-day operating model — productivity standards, quality metrics, attendance accountability, and team performance management Client Relationships & Retention Personally engage on the most strategic medical and specialty client relationships and on any account showing material expansion or retention opportunity. Sponsor quarterly business reviews for top-tier clients; ensure that client relationships are deepening and expanding over time. Partner with Sales and Customer Success on growth and renewal across the iMed book, providing operational input on prospect evaluation and proposal development. Build relationships with the senior leadership of practice partners, ensuring iMed is the trusted long-term operating partner of choice for medical and specialty practices. Identify and act on upsell opportunities across the iMed client base, including credentialing services, value-added analytics, and additional service lines. Team Leadership & Development Develop and manage the operating team across billing managers, account managers, operations supervisors, and supporting analyst roles. Partner with Human Resources on performance management, succession planning, and the build-out of the next generation of operating leadership within iMed. Build cohesion and accountability across U.S., India, and Pakistan operating teams; foster an inclusive, high-performing culture across the global workforce. Mentor emerging operational talent and create clear career pathways within the iMed organization. Establish performance expectations and accountability frameworks across the operating organization, with consistent application across geographies. Operational Excellence & Scale Drive continuous improvement in operating economics across iMed, including cost-to-serve, collections performance, and team productivity. Partner with R&D and BOI on automation initiatives that allow the operations team to scale without proportional headcount expansion. Apply best practices from the broader PRG organization to iMed operations, leveraging shared learnings, technology investments, and operational playbooks. Establish performance benchmarks and continuously raise the bar across the operating organization. Champion process discipline across the multi-site, multi-shore operating model. Qualifications Required Qualifications 8-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a senior management or director-level operating role.
