Salary Range:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, develop, and organize all terminal operating activities and required supporting programs to achieve the safest most efficient, economical operations consistent with safety, quality, and customer service. Develop and supervise Terminal Trainmasters and TY&E employees. Develop short and long term plans to improve mainline train and yard switching operations. Ensure compliance with BNSF's equal employment policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, and Government regulations. Interface with various work groups to continually meet or exceed customer expectations. Hold investigations and recommend discipline. Develop continuous improvement processes to assist with controlling costs to meet budget goals. Assist in the development and execution of the Terminal Safety Action Plan to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Assist in investigations of train accidents and injury reporting. Position may be subject to on call status and/or work shifts, holidays and weekends. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Prior terminal operations experience is required Supervisory experience is required Proven team leader Must possess an extensive knowledge of operating rules and schedule agreements applicable to the TY&E crafts Individual must also possess leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent working knowledge of day-to-day railroad operations and practices Must also possess strong TSS Xpress system knowledge
