Resumen The AOG Supervisor, is responsible for performance management and professional development of the AOG operations control tower. This is a working supervisor position (handling day to day job functions). In addition, responsible for supervision and training employees; assigns work to others and a resource to employees. Assists as needed to complete the work of the department up to and including daily shipment processing. Responsabilidades Supervise staff assignment, reporting and absences Monitor staff overtime and schedules Maintain and ensure safety culture and quality standards Execute all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), KPI's, trainings, and all other assignments Provide leadership and management of the international accounts Conduct quarterly audits and reviews with all direct reports Set employee goals, ensuring conformity to company standards and ensuring high standards from their employees and division Conduct
  • Hire training for all new employees Develop the skills and competence of staff through training, coaching and on the job development Responsible for the operation of the office when the manager is absent Responsible for entering shipment data, tracing, booking air/ocean following the full life cycle of shipment process from quote to delivery Manage relationships with international service providers and partners throughout the globe.
Liaise with international vendors to manage shipment bookings, ensuring timely transfers from logistics providers' warehouses and onward to final destinations, as appropriate. Ability to meet with clients offsite (periodic travel) and assist in securing / managing client business Calificaciones A team player who works well with others

Other Skills We Hope to
See:
Associates Degree related field or equivalent to 7 years in industry 5-7 years' work experience in International Freight Forwarding industry Minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory position CargoWise experience required. CCO level. IATA, IMDG, Road Hazardous Material Certification is preferred Familiar with DOD, DOS and ITAR strongly preferred Ocean/Air Import and Export Experience Required Knowledge in Charter and Project Management preferred Knowledge with International Global Compliance is strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer Ability to handle conflicts with positive resolution Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work flexible hours and in a high-volume, high-pressure fast work environment High standards in quality and service level agreements 24/7/365 availability to engage client emergencies Reliable connectivity to ensure access to all tools needed to operate remotely
