PROJECT MANAGER / FIELD OPERATIONS INTEGRATOR
Full-Time | Lemont, IL + Field Operations | Multi-State Travel Required | Out-of-State Candidates Welcome Nationwide Growth Opportunity YORA is growing beyond Illinois. While our current base is in the Chicagoland area, we are open to strong out-of-state candidates. For the right builder, we may create a path to start in your home city and help YORA grow into that market. About YORA Facility Services YORA Facility Services is a fast-growing commercial cleaning and facility maintenance company. We operate across Illinois and 15+ states, serving institutional, commercial, and multi-site clients at a high standard. We are a structured, credentialed operation with a clear path to major growth. We are hiring a Project Manager / Field Operations Integrator who will help become an operational backbone of the company. The founder focuses on growth, vision, and key relationships. You help turn plans into execution. That means client sites run right, crews are accountable, and issues are solved before they become complaints. The Role This is not just a desk job. This is not just a title. This is ownership of field operations, communication, follow-through, and standards.
- Oversee daily field operations across multiple client locations in Illinois and other states.
- Manage field supervisors and crews, holding them accountable to quality, schedule, and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify problems before clients do.
- Communicate with clients professionally, proactively, and consistently.
- Build, follow, and improve SOPs, checklists, and quality systems that can scale.
- Report to the founder with clear, structured daily updates.
- Identify operational gaps and fix them with ownership and urgency. Who We Are Looking For We need an A-player. Someone who runs toward problems, not away from them. Someone who takes pride in work done right and takes action when something is not right.
- 3-5+ years of experience in facility services, janitorial, property maintenance, construction operations, or similar service-industry field roles.
- Stable work history and a pattern of commitment, growth, and follow-through.
- Proven experience managing field teams, supervisors, vendors, or crews.
- Strong follow-through: when you say something will happen, it happens.
- High attention to detail: checklists, SOPs, and systems are how you protect quality.
- Strong communicator with clients, crews, vendors, and ownership.
Self-starter:
you do not wait to be told when something obvious needs to get done.
- Open to travel and occasional relocation discussions if based out of state.
- A builder who can grow a market: we are especially interested in people who understand field operations and may eventually help us open, support, or grow YORA operations in their city.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus. This Role Is NOT for You If
- You have never worked in a field-based or service-industry environment.
- You have a pattern of short-term jobs without a clear reason.
- You treat attention to detail as a buzzword instead of a standard.
- You are looking for remote-only work or a 9-to-5 role with no real accountability.
- You want a title without ownership.
This role requires leadership, follow-through, and accountability. This Role Has a Ceiling - And It Is High YORA is on a real path to major growth. We operate across 15+ states and we are not slowing down. The person who steps into this role and owns it will not stay a Project Manager forever. We are building toward a Director of Operations position. We want to grow that person from within. If you are looking for a place to build a career, not just hold a job, this is the seat.
- Day 1: Project Manager / Field Operations Integrator - own field execution and accountability.
- 90 days: Proven systems, accountable teams, better communication, and client confidence.
- Year 1: Expanded coverage, stronger systems, and bonus-eligible performance milestones.
- Year 2+: Director of Operations path for the right person. Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base compensation based on experience and fit.
- Performance bonuses tied to client retention, quality standards, and operational metrics.
- Direct access to founder and leadership from Day 1.
- Defined growth path toward larger operations leadership.
- A company that invests in the right people with training, tools, and real support.
- Out-of-state relocation support may be discussed for the right candidate.
