Relocation assistance is not provided for this position Discover Impactful Work As an Operations Manager, you will lead a customer-facing team that drives business transformation and operational excellence. You will oversee complex, cross-functional projects for custom products from inception through delivery, focusing on business transitions, process improvement efforts, system implementations, and change management programs. Partnering with stakeholders across the organization, you'll support business goals while building and developing high performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your contributions will support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. A Day in the Life Lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects and operational initiatives Drive process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and scalability Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic plans that support organizational goals Support business transformation, systems implementation, and organizational change initiatives Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project delivery Monitor business performance, timelines, and resource allocation Facilitate communication and alignment across diverse teams and functions Promote operational excellence through the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies Lead, develop, and support teams while fostering a high-performance culture Keys to Success Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience Experience 2+ years of people management experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred 2+ years of project/program management experience preferred Proven success in driving process improvement, operational excellence, and change management initiatives Experience in presenting and engaging with leadership teams Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies Industry experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or scientific instruments environments preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior leadership Ability to develop and execute strategic plans while managing multiple priorities Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to influence and drive alignment in a matrixed organization Facilitation and negotiation skills Ability to travel up to 10% as required Other Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $93,800.00-$115,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
