Basic Job Functions:
The Business Management System Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Business Management System Supervisor in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems, as well as process optimization initiatives. Key duties include managing QMS, EMS, and SMS documentation, such as area FMEAs and control plans; overseeing and updating teammate training records; and maintaining gage calibration records. This role also contributes to the initiation, completion, and monitoring of departmental corrective actions, ongoing improvement projects, KPIs and objectives, and required MSA studies. The Coordinator leads manufacturing process audits, product audits, and layered process audits to evaluate compliance with established quality, environmental, and safety management system procedures, standards, and customer specifications. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing/production process or quality related field Experience in Management Systems componets
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years experience with a formal management system
ISO 9001
2015 and
IATF 16949
Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
ISO 14001
