The right-fit candidate will have held a multi-unit leadership position for a minimum of 3 years. The Assistant Director of Operations will support the Director of Operations in overseeing restaurant performance, compliance, profitability, and team development across several restaurant locations. Multi-unit operational leadership and restaurant P&L management are key requirements. Common responsibilities will include
Operations Management:
Assist the Director of Operations in managing day-to-day operations for multiple restaurants Coaching and supporting store managers Monitoring food quality, service standards, cleanliness and guest satisfaction Ensuring compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements Analyzing operational key performance indicators and implementing improvement plans Assisting with recruiting, hiring, training and succession planning Conducting store audits and performance reviews
Financial Performance:
Analyze sales, labor, food cost, and profitability Support development and execution of budgets Identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce operating costs Monitor inventory controls, waste management, and cash handling Assist Store Managers in achieving financial targets Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, coach, and develop store managers, supervisors and team members Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning Support employee retention and engagement initiatives Lead operational meetings and communicate company objectives Coach managers on Leadership, customer service, and operational excellence Guest Experience Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service Address escalated guest complaints and service issues Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions Promote initiatives that improve guest satisfaction and loyalty Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Monitor food safety programs and sanitation standards Oversee workplace safety procedures and incident reporting
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
