We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day business operations and support the scaling of internal processes as the company grows. This role is responsible for improving efficiency across functions, supporting leadership initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution of operational workflows. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—capable of building systems, solving problems, and driving accountability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Own day-to-day operations and serve as the central coordination point across the business Lead a small operations team, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and execution across inventory, fulfillment, and office operations Oversee end-to-end execution of inventory, order fulfillment, and office operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery Manage accounts receivable (AR) to support cash flow Develop and improve SOPs and internal workflows to support scalability and consistency Track operational performance and provide leadership with clear reporting and insights Drive funding, grant, and incentive applications from preparation through submission and follow-up Manage tax-related processes, including filings, refunds, and tariff refund recovery Ensure compliance with internal standards and basic regulatory requirements Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, finance, HR, and other teams to execute priorities Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3-7+ years of experience in operations, business management, or a related role Background in an engineering or technology company strongly preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution effectively Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and common CRM, HR, and project management tools Desired Experience in a startup or engineering/technology company Familiarity with HR, finance, or manufacturing operations Experience implementing operational systems or dashboards
