We operate across commercial construction, landscape maintenance, snow & ice management, and residential design-build. What we need now is a Landscape Management Manager ready to lead and grow both our commercial landscape maintenance and snow & ice management operations. The Role This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for building a scalable, profitable, operationally elite maintenance and snow division. You will work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to strengthen operations, develop people, improve systems, grow accounts, and drive profitability across two critical service lines. What you'll be doing: Commercial Landscape Maintenance & Snow Operations Lead all landscape maintenance and snow & ice management operations across the Kansas City metro Oversee managers, crews, dispatch, subcontractors, and field operations Own planning, execution, storm response, service quality, and operational performance Build systems and operational structure to support future growth Financial & Operational Performance Manage budgets, forecasting, job costing, profitability, and operational visibility Improve efficiency across labor, equipment, materials, routing, scheduling, and communication Drive accountability and performance through better systems and processes Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop managers, field leaders, dispatch, and crews Recruit, coach, and retain top operational talent Build a culture of accountability, urgency, communication, and operational excellence Conduct ride-alongs, jobsite visits, coaching, and performance reviews Client Relationships & Growth Support account growth, retention, estimating, bidding, and client satisfaction Build strong relationships with commercial clients and key stakeholders Help position Hermes as a premier landscape and snow partner in the market Who we're looking for: This role is best suited for someone who knows how to run high-performing service operations and is ready for greater ownership, influence, and impact.

A Branch Manager or Area Manager at a larger landscape company looking for more autonomy A high-performing operations leader ready to take ownership of a major division A Snow Operations Manager ready to lead at a higher level Someone who values working with nature and making the world more beautiful Experience 10-15+ years in commercial landscape maintenance, snow operations, or related industries Experience managing large commercial maintenance properties, crews, subcontractors, and operational logistics Strong background in operations, leadership, budgeting, routing, and profitability Experience leading snow & ice management operations preferred Proven success developing teams, improving systems, and growing operations Requirements Strong operational, financial, and organizational leadership skills Calm and decisive in high-pressure situations and storm events Systems thinker who improves process, communication, and execution Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Comfortable working directly with ownership and executive leadership Ability to execute and "get things done" What you're walking into: A 60-year-old family business that doesn't act like one that's slowing down.
