Business Operations Manager

Strategic Growth + Business Operations Leadership Foxhollow Farm | Full-Time | In Person Foxhollow Farm is a 1,300-acre, family-run biodynamic farm committed to regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and community. We are building a modern farm business that supports the well-being of the land, animals, plants, and people—while creating scalable systems for long-term growth. We are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to help lead the next phase of our growth. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who can combine business discipline, operational excellence, financial insight, and hands-on execution . You will work closely with ownership and leadership to improve performance, build systems, and help scale a mission-driven organization. What You'll Own Business Performance & Financial Operations Build and track KPIs across revenue, labor, costs, and profitability Analyze pricing, margins, and revenue streams to improve performance Support budgeting, forecasting, and leadership reporting Turn business data into actionable recommendations Growth & Strategic Execution Identify opportunities for new revenue channels and market expansion Support launch of new products, services, and partnerships Evaluate market trends, customer demand, and competitive positioning Help translate strategy into execution plans Systems & Process Improvement Build scalable workflows across operations, finance, HR, and administration Improve efficiency through better systems, automation, and accountability Strengthen documentation, reporting, and decision-making tools Create repeatable processes that support growth Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination Help align teams around priorities and performance goals Foster clear communication and accountability across departments Support a culture of continuous improvement and ownership Partner directly with leadership on key initiatives Administration & Vendor Management Manage vendor relationships, contracts, leases, and service providers Improve internal administrative systems and controls Support organized, compliant, and efficient business operations What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) Clear KPIs actively guiding business decisions Improved operational efficiency and accountability Better visibility into margins, costs, and profitability Stronger coordination across farm and business functions New systems that support future growth Meaningful contribution to strategic expansion initiatives What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in operations, business management, or general management Strong financial acumen (budgeting, analysis, forecasting, KPI ownership) Experience improving systems in growing organizations Strong leadership and communication skills Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented Strongly Preferred Backgrounds Agriculture Food & beverage Hospitality Manufacturing Multi-entity small/mid-sized businesses Mission-driven organizations Why Join Foxhollow Farm?
