Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Director of Operations is primarily responsible for the organization and administration of assigned departments of Lexington Clinic Operations, at times assuming responsibilities of Director of Operations or other management oversight and as delegated by the Chief Administrative Officer; provides direction Clinic-wide in problem-solving and program development; offers leadership in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and the maintenance of quality patient care; directs and supervises Operations Management Team, patient care activities, and accommodative services in assigned departments. The Director of Operations must be able to travel to other facilities and have access to appropriate transportation. If the individual will be driving, must have a current, valid driver's license and insurance as indicated in the Clinic automobile insurance policy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Formal training which will probably be indicated by an undergraduate or graduate degree in Health Administration, Business or other Allied Health Profession. Consideration will be given to extensive practice management experience in a large multi-specialty group practice; supervisory experience; demonstrated executive ability and leadership; comprehensive knowledge of health care practices; good management and communication skills; strong business and mathematical computational skills; previous experience in an ambulatory care setting and in program development; ability to read and understand reports/financial information.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES
Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day.
