The incumbent of this position will supervise and perform duties in the capacity of administrative functions such as warehouse operations, supply inventory, property control, transportation/fleet management, parking, safety and risk management, to include chemical control and telecommunications coordinator. The Office of Management and Finance (OMF) oversees the agency's fiscal operations, budgeting, procurement and contracts, human resources, and other key administrative functions. We provide the internal support and oversight needed to ensure efficient, accountable, and transparent agency operations. OMF does not deliver direct services to the public. Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Details:
Manages statewide administrative operations, including warehouse operations, inventory and property control, fleet and transportation management, parking administration, safety and risk management, chemical control, and telecommunications coordination. Supervises all staff responsible for warehouse operations, supply inventory, property control, fleet management, safety, risk management, and chemical control activities. Oversees property control audits and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required reports to agency leadership and the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA). Administers and maintains the agency's Safety Program, policies, procedures, and forms, and provides oversight of safety operations for headquarters and surrounding campus facilities. Coordinates procurement requests for supplies and equipment related to assigned functions and prepares travel authorizations for rental vehicles used to transport agency equipment and furniture.
