Collateral Team Position Snapshot:

Position Snapshot:

Lead a specific operational team to deliver timely, accurate outputs through daily queue control, routine and targeted QC, coaching, and consistent execution of standards. Own staffing coverage for the team and maintain light workflow stewardship for steps/queues impacting team execution.

Reports To:

Operations Manager (function-specific) Core Responsibilities Applies to all role(s) in this category

• Own daily queue management: prioritize work, rebalance assignments, and reduce aging/backlog.
• Own timeline protection across all assigned work, ensuring time‑sensitive tasks are prioritized appropriately, deadlines are surfaced early, and at‑risk items are escalated before breach.
• QC ownership: run routine QC sampling and targeted QC (new hires, high-risk work, defect spikes); document defects and coach to correction.
• Maintain team procedures/templates/quick cards; deliver onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain surge coverage basics (coverage plan, PTO backups, overflow rules) and execute during spikes.
• Escalate systemic blockers and defect trends; drive root-cause fixes with Manager support.
• Light configuration stewardship: validate team tasks/queues/required fields; participate in UAT when team changes occur; confirm fixes.

• Experience in creditor rights operations, mortgage servicing, or law firm operational processing.

Experience:

3-6+ years in relevant team work; 1-2+ years in lead/supervisory responsibility preferred.
