Job Description:
The Kitchen Operations Coordinator serves as the communication hub between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring food is prepared, assembled, and delivered accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This role is responsible for managing ticket flow, coordinating production timing, maintaining service organization, and supporting smooth operations across multiple food and beverage outlets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor incoming orders to ensure timely and accurate execution. Coordinate communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams throughout service. Organize and prioritize ticket flow based on production times, service demands, and outlet needs. Review orders for accuracy, modifications, allergies, and special requests before food leaves the kitchen. Ensure all menu items are properly plated, garnished, packaged, and presented according to company standards. Maintain awareness of ticket times and proactively communicate delays or operational challenges. Assist chefs and cooks in coordinating production to ensure efficient service execution. Support multiple food and beverage outlets by balancing order flow and prioritizing service needs. Maintain organization and cleanliness of service windows, pickup stations, and expo areas. Monitor inventory of service items, packaging, garnishes, and supplies needed for service. Assist with food running and guest service support when operationally necessary. Promote a positive and collaborative working relationship between front and back of house teams. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant, hospitality, kitchen, or food service experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Experience using restaurant POS and kitchen display systems preferred. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
