The Advancement Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting the fundraising and donor relations efforts of Curry College. This position will manage donor databases, conduct qualifying research, and manage administrative tasks to support fundraising to help the organization meet its financial goals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for the mission of Curry College.Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the Advancement Operations Administrator revolve around supporting the Office of Institutional Advancement's fundraising and donor relations efforts.Major Job Duties:
1.Data Entry, Management & Reporting:
Maintain and update donor database, track gifts, pledges, and donor interactions; Ensure accurate record-keeping and help generate reports for development staff members; Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion; Ensure proper storage and organization of files (both physical and digital); Monitor the accuracy of data and troubleshoot issues when discrepancies arise; Work closely with other departments to ensure data integrity; Assist with forecasting and performance based on data analysis. 2.Research & Prospecting:
Assist in research to identify potential new donors, foundations, and corporate partners; Qualify Leads and assess the potential value and relevance of leads by determining wealth criteria; Assist in preparing donor profiles, prospect lists, and wealth screenings; Collaborate closely with Director of Advancement Operations in the pipeline management process. 3.Donor Relations & Stewardship:
Execute stewardship efforts with existing donors, ensuring they feel appreciated and engaged with the college's work; Oversee and manage the gift acknowledgement process through personalized communication tailored to strategies for donors to keep them informed and engaged; Oversee and tracks pledge status, reports and acknowledgement and reminder communications; Maintain endowed scholarship tracking and assist with management of program; Assist in tracking recognition and donor society to acknowledge and publicly recognize donors for their contributions, ensuring they feel valued. 4.Administrative and Operations Support:
Provide general administrative support to the development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and assisting with day-to-day operations; Oversee invoice processing and assist with budget tracking; Support execution of donor appeal, brochures and presentations; Assist in coordinating logistics for fundraising events; Generate reports on office and operational activities.Additional Functions:
Requires collaboration with other departments, i.e., finance, marketing, etc. Assist in grant pipeline management and material support for proposals; Support the development team in preparing materials for meetings and events with prospective donors, board members, alumni and family members; Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of operation, professional protocols, and individual privacy; Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or their designee.Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications or related field. 3-5 years of experience in data management. 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit, public relations, sales or related industry. Familiarity with donor relations, gift acknowledgement and stewardship. Proven experience working with CRM software or fundraising platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in data management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills. Project management experience, including planning, executing, and follow-through. Budget and financial management. Data analysis and report building. Highly-motivated self-starter.Essential Functions:
