Job Description The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing daily operational activities within the administrative support and waste management sector. This position ensures that all processes, from dispatching to warehouse management, are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor leads and mentors a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. They are responsible for coordinating emergency response efforts and conducting regular safety audits to maintain a secure working environment. Ultimately, the role aims to enhance operational productivity while upholding the highest standards of safety and employee engagement across all functions. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations including dispatching, route activities, routing and employee workflows to meet organizational goals. Manage and develop team members by providing training, performance evaluations, and coaching to ensure high levels of employee performance and engagement. Conduct regular safety training sessions and safety audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Lead emergency response initiatives, ensuring preparedness and effective action during incidents to minimize risk and maintain operational continuity. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in operations management within administrative support or waste management industries. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Dispatching processes. Strong knowledge of safety training protocols and conducting safety audits. Ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations. Certification in operations management or related fields. Experience with PKMS software or similar performance and knowledge management systems. Background in environmental health and safety compliance. Previous experience in waste management or remediation services. Advanced leadership training or supervisory certifications. Skills The Operations Supervisor utilizes operations management skills daily to coordinate complex workflows and optimize resource allocation. Team management expertise is essential for motivating staff, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in dispatching and Warehouse Management Systems enables the supervisor to oversee logistics and inventory with precision. Employee performance monitoring and PKMS tools are employed to track progress and identify areas for development. Additionally, strong capabilities in safety training, conducting audits, and emergency response ensure a safe workplace and regulatory compliance, which are critical to sustaining uninterrupted operations.
